I had every intention of a nice dinner with my brother and sister-in-law followed by an evening of music with the Shakys. Alas, I ended up yakking instead of playing so I have no idea what went down at Urban Options. MLK

6/15/11
All told 17 musicians showed up before I left ~9:20pm, but a couple left before me. The smaller group made it a little easier to hear what was going on, but Urban Options is confusing us with their furniture rearranging. Paul B. was there so we got a different twist on Mississippi Sawyer. Is Cajunified a word? MLK

What's become the usual number of people showed up on a gorgeous evening but the room seemed more crowded than usual. Probably because Urban Options was rearranging the room (adding bookcases) and books were scattered in piles all over forcing us to pull the chairs into a tighter circle. 5/11/2011 (21 musicians)
While there were 21 (or more) musicians there, it didn't seem crowded. That's probably because Edna was there again with the Shaky tee shirts so I think there was a lot of socializing in the other room. Hanno came early (for Hanno) and John H. & Chris S. made surprise appearances. Anna and Ande also made a valiant? effort to insert a French Canadian influence. There were still 12 there when I left ~10pm.MLK
